These terms govern the use of the Clemu mobile app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. What Clemu is
Clemu is a tool to organize your pets' health and care information: profiles, vaccination and deworming records, medical history with attachments, weight, appointments and reminders. The service is provided by Gianella Vezzoni (Tax ID 30-71708105-2), located at Corrientes 122, Mendoza, Argentina.
2. Clemu does not replace your vet
The information you enter is yours, and you are responsible for it being correct. The app's reminders are an aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.
3. Your account
- To use the app you must be of legal age or have the authorization of your parent or legal guardian. If you are under 13, you may not create an account.
- The information you give us when signing up must be truthful and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens through your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, let us know and change your password.
- An account is personal; do not transfer or share it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for unlawful purposes or to harm other people or animals.
- Upload content that infringes third-party rights or is offensive, false or malicious.
- Attempt to access accounts, data or systems without authorization, or interfere with how the service works.
- Copy, decompile or resell the app, or use automated means to extract data in bulk.
5. Your content
Everything you upload to Clemu (data, photos, documents) remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process and show it to you solely to provide the service, as explained in the Privacy policy. You declare that you have the right to upload that content.
6. Reminders and notifications
Alerts depend on your device, the permissions you grant, your battery-saving settings and your internet connection. Although we do our best for them to arrive on time, we do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered. Don't rely solely on the app for critical health dates: confirm them with your vet.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, its code, the Clemu brand, the logo and the texts belong to their owners and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any right over them to you, other than the right to use the app as provided here.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Clemu running continuously, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures or causes beyond our control. We may add, modify or remove features. If paid features are offered in the future, we will tell you clearly before charging you.
9. Liability
We provide the service “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss from causes beyond our control, decisions made based on the information entered, or content uploaded by users. We are also not responsible for the care or services provided by veterinarians, clinics or other third parties.
Nothing in these terms limits the non-waivable rights granted to you by consumer protection law (Argentine Law 24,240) or other mandatory rules.
10. Termination and suspension
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps on this page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the security of the service or of other people at risk, notifying you where appropriate.
11. Privacy
The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. For any dispute, the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right, if you are a consumer, to bring actions before the courts of your place of residence or before the competent consumer protection authority.
We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we will let you know before they take effect. If you keep using the app after that date, we understand that you accept them.
